After two months in Koh Samui, Thailand, we’re already feeling withdrawal symptoms from Thai food. Don’t get me wrong, the food has been lovely, very simple, fresh delicious and healthy. But both Jon and I were in need of something different and a little change in flavours. So we didn’t hesitate to jump on a songthaew (a pick-up) and find our heart’s desire.
Veggie Bean–Homemade vegetarian café–hit that spot and we were so grateful to find it! Situated in Chaweng Noi, on the Ring Road between the New Star Resort and The Sheraton Hotel, this cozy spot is owned and run by a young couple who had a vision to create a vegetarian café as one of them (or both?) is vegetarian themselves. Yay! They are English speakers which is very handy for asking questions about the menu and for verifying that the dishes match your own individual quirks. 😛 They are also super friendly and accommodating and will do their best to make you feel comfortable to hang out at their café. Have I mentioned free WiFi?
We ordered four dishes from the vegan menu which we have shared with you in this short video. You’ll find out how much fun it is eating this finger food with our hands. Enjoy!
